Being a busy wedding photographer I see many many weddings a year, and when it comes to styles and colours they can be very similar – which is why Shilpa and Eguiar’s vibrant Hindu wedding was a feast for the eyes and a breath of fresh air!

Hindu weddings are always so exciting to document, which makes being a Hindu wedding photographer in Spain so much fun…and this wedding was no exception. From the glittering dresses to the stunning flower garlands, every shot was a riot of exquisite colour. I loved photographing Sherpa’s hennaed hands, which are a large part of the traditional ceremony, along with other customs like the hand holding and ceremonial offerings. These beautiful traditions made every photograph poignant and unique.

Guests from all around the world attended the wedding, adding an exciting mix of cultures and traditions to the day. After the ceremony the couple changed into Western wedding outfits and the evening began with a delicious meal and ended with everyone dancing into the night.

A big well done to the Caprichia Weddings & Occasions wedding planners, without whose coordination such a stunning wedding would not have been possible. Shirpa and Eguiar were an amazing couple to work with and I can’t wait until my next Hindu wedding in Spain.
